The UV Radial from SGLUX GmbH is a waterproof ultraviolet (UV) irradiance sensor designed for UV disinfection systems, drinking water plants, and industrial wastewater treatment.
It provides continuous, precise measurement of UV intensity within the 254 nm germicidal range, enabling accurate monitoring and control of lamp performance.
Constructed from stainless steel (IP68) and equipped with a hermetically sealed quartz window, the UV Radial ensures long-term stability under immersion and high-pressure conditions.
The sensor’s solar-blind Silicon Carbide (SiC) detector delivers high accuracy and resistance to fouling, temperature variation, and humidity.
Factory-calibrated to NIST/PTB standards, the UV Radial offers dependable UV-C irradiance data for ensuring compliance with water disinfection validation standards (DVGW, ÖNORM, US-EPA).
Compact, robust, and maintenance-free, it is ideal for UV disinfection chambers, sterilisation pipelines, and environmental water monitoring systems.

The UV Radial measures germicidal UV radiation at 254 nm, ensuring optimal performance and validation of UV water disinfection systems.
It uses a solar-blind SiC photodiode protected by a UV-grade quartz window to monitor the lamp output directly within the water flow.
The sensor’s fully encapsulated stainless-steel housing allows continuous submersion in pressurised environments.
By providing a linear analog signal proportional to UV intensity, it enables automatic lamp control, safety shutdown, and system validation.
