The TOCON_E2 from SGLUX GmbH is a high-precision erythema-weighted UV photodetector designed for accurate UV Index measurement and biologically effective radiation monitoring.
It combines a solar-blind SiC photodiode with a built-in transimpedance amplifier and a spectral correction filter matching the CIE erythemal (sunburn) action curve, producing a 0–5 V DC output proportional to UV intensity.
Optimised for the 280–400 nm wavelength range, the TOCON_E2 accurately quantifies UV radiation responsible for skin erythema and UV Index assessment in compliance with WMO and ISO standards.
Each sensor is factory-calibrated and traceable to NIST / PTB standards, ensuring high reproducibility, stability, and long-term accuracy.
