TOCON Probe – Radiometric UV Sensor for Precision Measurement in Industrial, Scientific, and Environmental Applications

The TOCON Probe from SGLUX GmbH is a factory-calibrated radiometric UV sensor that provides high-accuracy irradiance measurements across UV spectral regions (UVA, UVB, UVC).
Each probe integrates a TOCON (Transimpedance Operational Converter) photodiode, combining a solar-blind Silicon Carbide (SiC) or Gallium Nitride (GaN) detector with a precision amplifier inside a compact, shielded housing.
It delivers a linear 0–5 V DC analog output, proportional to UV irradiance, making it ideal for real-time monitoring in UV curing, sterilisation, solar simulation, photobiology, and material testing.
Available in various spectral configurations (UVC, UVB, UVA, Erythema-weighted, etc.), the TOCON Probe series ensures flexibility across diverse UV measurement tasks.
Factory-calibrated and traceable to NIST/PTB standards, it guarantees reliable, repeatable measurements in both industrial and research-grade radiometric systems.

The TOCON Probe measures the radiometric intensity of ultraviolet radiation within a specific wavelength band.
It integrates the photodiode, optical filter, and transimpedance amplifier into a single robust unit, simplifying installation and eliminating the need for external signal conditioning.
The sensor outputs a linear voltage corresponding to UV intensity (W/m²), making it compatible with controllers, data loggers, or PLC systems.
With solar-blind detection, fast response (<1 s), and traceable calibration, the TOCON Probe ensures accurate UV measurement for process control, calibration, and quality assurance in industrial and laboratory environments.
