The TOCON_BLUE9 from SGLUX GmbH is a precision Gallium Phosphide (GaP) blue-light photodetector designed for accurate detection of visible-blue and near-ultraviolet (UV-A) radiation in optical calibration, LED characterisation, and industrial process-monitoring environments.
It combines a solar-blind GaP photodiode with a low-noise transimpedance amplifier, providing a stable 0 – 5 V DC output proportional to the incident irradiance.
Operating over a spectral range of 350 – 480 nm and peaking at 465 nm, the TOCON_BLUE9 delivers high sensitivity to blue light while rejecting all infrared interference.
Each unit is factory-calibrated and traceable to NIST / PTB standards, ensuring measurement reliability and repeatability.
Rugged, compact, and maintenance-free, it is ideal for blue-LED testing, optical calibration, phototherapy validation, and industrial quality-control applications requiring accurate blue-light quantification.

The TOCON_BLUE9 utilises a GaP photodiode optimised for visible-blue wavelength detection while being naturally insensitive to red and infrared radiation.
It features an integrated amplifier that outputs a linear 0 – 5 V signal, making it directly compatible with SGLUX SENSOR MONITOR 5.0, VOLTCON, or other data-acquisition systems.
Offering fast response (< 1 s), low noise, and long-term stability, it ensures consistent readings even under continuous illumination.
