CLAMIR stands for Closed-Loop Active Monitoring of InfraRed, a state-of-the-art system that actively monitors the melt pool geometry in real time using an integrated MWIR infrared camera. It uses this feedback to dynamically adjust laser power output, ensuring consistent energy delivery and surface integrity throughout the cladding or deposition process.
